Arseny Tarasevich-Nikolaev

Moscow native Arseny Tarasevich-Nikolaev comes from a family of musicians. He graduated from the Moscow Conservatory and currently studies at the Lake Como International Piano Academy. He has played in Russia at the Great, Small, and Rachmaninoff Halls of the Moscow Conservatory, and has also toured in many different countries, including Australia, China, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Japan, Lithuania, Macedonia, Norway, Poland, Spain, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States, which featured a performance at Carnegie Hall.

In 2015, Mr. Tarasevich-Nikolaev recorded his first CD with Debussy's first livre of Preludes and L'isle Joyeuse, as well as Ravel's Gaspard de la Nuit on the Acousense Label. In October 2018 his Decca Classics CD was released, featuring pieces by Rachmaninoff, Scriabin, Medtner, Prokofiev, and Nikolaeva. Apart from having a career as a soloist, Mr. Tarasevich-Nikolaev enjoys performing as a chamber musician with repertoire including Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, Debussy, Grieg, Messiaen, Mozart, Rachmaninoff, Ravel, Schumann, Tchaikovsky, and others.
